The coastal surveillance system developed by Indra, featuring VTS application, is a sophisticated solution that provides command and control capabilities and integrates the latest technological innovations in radars, electro-optical systems, automatic identification systems, and other signal intelligence sensors.
It can be deployed in one or multiple command and control centres (C2Cs) and sensor stations, establishing a hierarchical architecture along the surveillance area, with operational and response capability against threats at multiple levels (underwater, surface and low altitude).
Its advanced management tools integrate information from a wide range of sensors to protect borders, lives, the environment, and other critical assets at sea. It incorporates AI, computer vision and machine learning for threat analysis and decision-making support.
Likewise, for land border surveillance it includes modules for sensor data processing, generation of surface and low-altitude situational awareness, as well as planning and control of response operations.
