CROW

Indra’s C-UAS system, CROW, is a comprehensive, modular, and flexible solution, adaptable to any terrain and protection scenario. Its effectiveness has been proven and demonstrated in the protection of critical infrastructures, combat situations and major international summits.

One Total Solution

CROW provides the most advanced set of sensors and effectors, managed by an intelligent Command and Control system with an intuitive interface.

Its architecture is modular, flexible and scalable to allow evolutions aligned with Armed Forces doctrines, operational plans and applicable procedures in each case.

Indra’s counter-drone system can be deployed in different fixed, semi-static and mobile configurations on various types of land vehicles, as well as used on multiple land and naval platforms.

C4: the brain of CROW

Indra’s C-UAS solution is built around an intelligent command and control system that orchestrates the sensors and effectors in each deployment (both proprietary and third-party) to detect, track, and neutralise threats.

The collected information is processed, correlated, and fused to provide a unified situational picture in real time and a common operational view for system operators.

Advanced technologies and algorithms, complemented by AI and extensive experience in real-world scenarios, enable the system to minimise false alarms, categorise threats swiftly and accurately, and optimise both supervised and manual decision-making in line with the operational concept.

C-UAS sensors

The system integrates the following types of sensors, which are implemented and deployed according to different protection requirements:

  • Radar, acting as the primary sensor
  • Radio frequency sensor, serving as a secondary sensor for RF-based UAS
  • Electro-optical sensors, both day and thermal, mainly used for target confirmation
  • Other complementary sensors, such as acoustic sensors

C-UAS effectors

The system integrates different types of effectors, according to the various operational needs:

  • Inhibitor for radio link and GNSS signals (jammer / Soft-Kill)
  • Weapon station (Hard-Kill)
  • Other kinetic or non-kinetic effectors based on laser, electromagnetic pulses, etc
