Weapons & Ammunition

At Indra, we promote advanced defence technology aimed at responding to an operational environment that is increasingly complex, dynamic and contested, where the constant evolution of threats demands new capabilities to guarantee security, operational superiority and mission effectiveness.

Through intelligent weapon systems, advanced guidance systems, counter-drone solutions and self-defence technologies, we strengthen technological sovereignty, industrial resilience and the capacity of the Armed Forces to operate effectively in high-intensity environments and under conditions of high uncertainty.

End-to-end capabilities with real impact

We have our own design, integration and manufacturing capabilities that enable the management of the complete life cycle of defence systems, ensuring their technological evolution, operational availability and adaptation to the specific requirements of each mission.

This approach is supported by a solid and sustainable industrial base, resulting in solutions proven in real operations, such as our C-UAS (Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems) capabilities, employed in the protection of critical infrastructure and at high-level international events, such as NATO summits, COP conferences or relevant institutional processes, consolidating our position as a global benchmark in advanced defence technology.

Combat systems and integrated solutions

Active protection against emerging threats

The C-UAS and point-defence capabilities offer a comprehensive response based on the integration of detection, decision and action to protect assets against LSS (Low-Slow-Small) drone threats. These solutions enable specific configurations for operational areas and the protection of critical infrastructure within national territory, combining weapon systems specialised in last-layer defence with ranges of up to ~20 km for detection and ~10 km for neutralisation. Interoperability between sensors and effectors guarantees effective, adaptable and scalable protection against next-generation aerial threats.

Air ecosystems for multi-domain combat

UAS systems encompass an advanced set of capabilities that include RPAS platforms for ISTAR missions —intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and identification—, attack drones and collaborative combat solutions based on multifunction aerial vehicles. These capabilities incorporate kinetic effectors, including loitering munitions, and network-connected systems that operate as decoys, jammers or attack platforms. This ecosystem is completed by high-speed self-propelled missile solutions with electronic guidance, creating an integrated, connected environment aimed at maximising operational effectiveness in multi-domain scenarios.
